I thought this would be a more intimate travel experience with the writer interacting with local inhabitants and landscape - it was more a running commentary on her interactions with her camera crew and director on the film set of the BBC documentary. What she must wear, how she must pose and what she was directed to do. Most disappointing, and written in quite a superficial, flippant way. I enjoyed the story, the writing, the journey but what makes this book different from others, is that it gives an interesting look behind-the-scenes on how a documentary is put togther.
